Hardcover published by The Epworth Press, printed 1930, no jacket. The boards are square, with wear to the edges and corners, and several minor marks. The spine is sunned, and has a gentle crease along the length. There is spotting / foxing mainly to the first and last few pages, but also sporadically to others throughout the book. There is the impression of a leaf stuck to page 11, that also has the word Portuguese crossed out. Page 13 contains the printed word "its" replaced with handwritten "blest". Two lines on page 92 have also been modified, in writing that appears to be the same as that of the author, whose dedication appears on the first end-paper.
