Two art Nouveau - Dutch cast iron and Majolica hanging oil lamps

DUTCH ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU CAST IRON HANGING OIL LAMP 1890 -1920 You are bidding on two rare old Dutch cast iron oil lamps. These beautiful used old Dutch oil lamp are in excellent condition, although the glass dome on one has been repaired following a break. Fabulous Art Nouveau gilded cast iron, glass and Majolica shipping oil lamps are to be sold as a pair. These lamps were often used aboard ship and in Dutch it has the name "Schippertje" which means little ship. The lamps are adjustable in height and can be shortened or lengthened. The contra weight and ceiling attachment are also ornately decorated. It has a brass burner and detailed and colourful Majolica oil container.  All in all a true eye catcher that will look great aboard ship or in your home!
