This air rifle utilizes a TNT nitrogen piston, which is a type of gas spring that offers the user advantages over a traditional spring-piston powerplant, such as smoother and quieter operation, lower recoil, and consistent operation despite low temperatures. In addition, a nitrogen piston lasts longer and is not susceptible to spring fatigue, and leaving it cocked for long periods does not result in damage to the pellet gun.
The Airem 2 solves a problem common to many spring air rifles by using the Nucleus integrated rail platform system to nearly eliminate vibration and movement that translate to scope movement. It also has a fiber optic front sight and a fiber optic rear sight, in addition to the Picatinny optics rail that is part of the Nucleus rail system.
The package also ships with a combination of a 4×32 scope and mounting rings for additional options for accurate aiming.
