Vintage 1930s Art Deco Fine Porcelain Coffee/Tea Set MZ Altrohlau & Protea China, Yellow and Black
ThiS Art Deco porcelain coffee/tea set features a coffee pot from both MZ Altrohlau (Czechoslovakia) and Protea China. Established in 1810 by Benedikt Hassler, the firm in Altrohlau (now Stara Role, near Karlovy Vary) transitioned from faience and stoneware to fine porcelain production in 1836. This particular MZ Altrohlau CM-R mark was used between 1918 and 1939 by Starorolsky Porcelan Moritz Zdekauer, showcasing their historic craftsmanship.
