Vintage 1950s Foska Lighter with Bucherer 17 Jewel Watch Novelty Cigarette Lighter Pocket Lighter Swiss This is a late 1950s Foska Cigarette Lighter with a Bucherer 17 Jewel Watch imbedded in the case; and it is in Very Good to Excellent Condition. On the front, the gold tone metal has an engine turned criss-cross pattern augmented by a strong vertical line on the right side and a strong horizonal line at the bottom. There is also a six point star in the lower right corner. The Bucherer watch / clock is imbedded on the upper right front with the winding and adjustment stem on the right side. The back has the same engine turned pattern as the front. The four sides have a linear design that compliments the strong lines of the front and back. The lift arm top opens and closes securely. This lighter sparks, but has not been tested for butane. As such, it may require servicing. The Bucherer Watch has been tested for 48+ hours of continuous running on a single wind-up, and it keeps perfect time. Overall, this cigarette lighter is in very good to excellent condition. There are no nicks, dents, dings, rust or corrosion anywhere. The clock bezel does have some minor scuffing due most likely to pocket or purse wear; but the face is still clearly visible. It is hallmarked on the face "BUCHERER" and "SWISS MADE". The bottom of the lighter has the butane fill screw and flame height adjuster. It is hallmarked "FOSKA" and "SWISS". This lighter measures 2 3/8 inches tall by 1 1/8 inches wide by 1/2 inch deep.
