VINTAGE EVANS & CO, NEW JERSEY TAPE MEASURE IN INCHES, ALL APPEARS TO BE WORKING AS IT SHOULD....I PULLED IT OUT TO 25 FEET AND REWOUND IT BACK IN, ITS A LITTLE STIFF BUT HARDLY....HEAVY, WELL MADE ITEM, I THINK THE CASING IS METAL....BUILT TO LAST A LIFETIME !!!!! DIA 9.8cm.
