Large hardcover with dust jacket. Binding is tight This edition is limited to 750 copies. This copy is not numbered (see photograph). Published in 1968 by Human & Rousseau, Brown boards with white lettering to front and spine. Slight shelf wear to spine ends. Light tanning to end pages with few foxing spots. The d/j has small tears to top edge and top corners are chaffed. D/j now covered in removable plastic film. ThisĀ book is a brief sketch of Wolf Kibel's life and work by Freda Kibel and a critical assessment of his work by Neville Dubow. Wolf Kibel was born in Poland in 1903. He moved to South Africa and died in Cape Town in 1938. He introduced Expressionism to South African Art. He gained recognition as gifted artist. No shipping overseas.
