Early Wooden & Copper 'Art Nouveau' Bridge Box
This early, art nouveau, possibly arts & crafts, beautifully made wooden 'Bridge' box, is fitted with lovely copper mounts and a name plate on the lid, with small copper brackets with brass studs on the corners. The box appears to be made from oak, with the lid and front panel being hinged. The front panel is missing something, for the small copper latch on the lid to connect to when closed, and other than a small interior piece of wood (interior divider) missing, the box is in good condition for its age. It measures 22,7cm x 13,8cm, stands 9cm high and weighs 760g.
