The Sound
The Grand Piano 1 voice features a realistic acoustic piano ~ generated samples from performers playing an 
acoustic Yamaha grand piano striking the keys soft, medium, and hard. Sustain and key-off samples add 
subtle nuances

Pedals
3 pedals following acoustic Yamaha functionality: Soft, sostenuto (half-damper), damper (sustain)

Transpose
A transposition function to change key, whilst pianist plays at notation key

Metronome
The Clavinova has an on-board full feature metronome function

Brilliance and environment
The Clavinova features adjustments for brilliance of tone (bright, normal, mellow) as well as environment 
reverb replication (room, hall 1 and 2, stage)

Other Voices
Including the main acoustic piano voices, the Clavinova produces 14 different voices, including electric 
pianos, harpsicord, reed- and pipe church organs, jazz organs, strings/violins, choir, guitar, and 
vibraphone. 

Recording
A 2-part recorder functionality is built-in.  This enables recording of a duet or recording left-hand and 
right-hand parts of a song separately.
